Elisabeth Gelston
Elisabeth Gelston has worked in Primary education for 30 years, in a range of schools and roles within Essex and the East of London. After completing her NPQH (National Professional Qualification for Headship) in 2005, she became Headteacher of a school in Harlow and then moved to Hatfield Heath Primary School in 2018. Over the years, she has taken part in national research concerned with disadvantaged pupils, led many curriculum subjects and supported trainees coming into the profession. She is currently completing the NPQEL (National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership) to ensure her knowledge remains current and relevant to the ever-changing role of a school leader. Elisabeth's particular passions are for inclusive education and for all children to feel like they belong and can thrive.
